In light of the ongoing pandemic, the ACSUS Executive Council has voted and approved to postpone its originally-scheduled biennial conference until 2022. It is happy to announce that it has renegotiated with the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Washington, D.C. and that the new dates for the 26th biennial conference of the Association for Canadian Studies in the United States will be held March 24-27, 2022. The ACSUS Executive Council is optimistic that international travel will be able to safely resume by that time and that the Association will be able to meet in what promises to be a great venue.
Please find attached the updated call for papers on the theme of “Canada: Near and Far” (French and English versions) that includes important information regarding the registration fees and schedule. We encourage you to please circulate this updated call for papers within your organization and encourage your members to submit a proposal for either an individual paper or a group panel/roundtable. Proposals may be submitted via our newly-updated website, www.acsus.org.
Please direct any questions to the ACSUS conference chair, Dr. Christina Keppie at keppiec@wwu.edu.
